Admission Procedure and Guidelines for KKHSOU Academic Programs
Overview This notification provides the mandatory instructions and procedural guidelines for students seeking admission to various academic programs at Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University (KKHSOU). The process emphasizes the requirement of an Academic Bank of Credit (ABC) ID and a UGC-DEB ID to facilitate credit accumulation and record-keeping for Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online programs. Admission Procedure Step 1: ABC ID Creation: Applicants must create an Academic Bank of Credit (ABC) ID via the Digilocker facility. A valid Aadhaar, PAN, or Driving License is required for this process. Step 2: UGC DEB ID Registration: Applicants must create or provide a unique, permanent UGC-DEB ID in the university’s admission portal to proceed with registration. Step 3: Login Credentials: Upon registration, login credentials (Username and Password) will be sent to the registered mobile number and email provided during the UGC-DEB ID creation. Step 4: Application Completion: After logging in, candidates must fill in personal details, select their program, upload required documents, preview the application, and pay the admission fees online.
