This document provides the official step-by-step admission guidelines for the July 2024 academic session at Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University (KKHSOU). All prospective students are required to follow these procedures to complete their admission process through the official admission portal.
Admission Procedure
Step 1: ABC ID Creation: As per UGC DEB directives, students must create an Academic Bank of Credit (ABC) ID via the Digilocker facility. Valid ID proof (Aadhaar, PAN, or Driving License) is mandatory.
Create a unique, permanent UGC DEB ID on the university portal. This ID is essential for all ODL and Online courses. After entry, verify your details and click 'Click to Register'.
Step 2: UGC DEB ID Creation:
Step 3: Account Credentials: Upon registration, your Username and Password will be sent to the registered mobile number and email address.
Step 4: Final Application: Log in to the portal to complete the following:
Enter Personal Details.
Select Programme and enter required course information.
Upload necessary scanned documents.
Review and pay fees online.
Download the payment receipt upon successful transaction.

Ensure the following are prepared (Scanned copies must be in jpg/jpeg/png format, < 500 KB each):
Passport-size photograph
Final Marksheet/Certificate of last educational qualification
Photo Identity Card (PAN, Driving License, or Aadhaar)
Scanned Signature
PWD, Caste, or BPL Certificate (if applicable)
Payment Methods
Debit/Credit Card or Netbanking
Wallet/UPI (PhonePe, Google Pay, WhatsApp Pay, etc.)
