Eligibility Criteria This guide outlines the admission process for hostels, not the eligibility criteria for admission. It is presumed that students accessing this guide have already met the university's admission requirements and are eligible for hostel accommodation. Selection Process This guide describes the payment and receipt generation process for hostel admission and does not cover the selection process for hostel allocation. How to Apply Students can complete their online hostel admission by following these steps: Step 1: Login Access the Dibrugarh University Student Portal using the provided link. Log in with your registered mobile number and the password used during your initial online application. If you encounter "Invalid Credentials!", click on the "Forgot Password" link to retrieve or reset your password. Step 2: Student Dashboard After a successful login, you will be directed to your Student Dashboard. Locate and click on the three-dash menu icon (≡) situated in the top-left corner of the screen to open the navigation panel. Step 3: Select Fee Payment From the left-hand navigation panel that appears, select the "Fee Payment" option. This action will take you to the admission payment page. Step 4: Click on Pay... On the payment requests page, identify the entry for your hostel admission (e.g., "Lumer Dai Chatra Nivas (LDCN)" for the specified session and amount). Click on the "Pay Rs. 2900" button (or the relevant amount displayed for your hostel fee) to initiate the payment process. You will be redirected to the secure payment gateway. Step 5: Make Payment Choose your preferred payment method from the available options, which typically include Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking, or UPI. Complete the payment securely by following the on-screen instructions. Step 6: View Payment Receipt After successfully completing the payment, return to the main menu by clicking the three-dash icon (≡) again. Select the "Payment Receipt" option from the menu. On the payment receipt page, click the "View Receipt" button to access your payment receipt. Step 7: Receipt Details Your payment receipt will be displayed, containing all transaction details. Key details include the Receipt Number, Payment Date, Programme, Fee Details, Amount, hostel name, and Reference ID. It is recommended to download or print this computer-generated slip for future reference. Hostel Admission Completion Upon successful completion of the payment and receipt generation, your hostel admission will be confirmed. Please download or print your payment receipt and keep it safely. For any admission-related issues or queries, students are advised to visit the Cash counter located in the Administrative Building, Dibrugarh University.
