Overview This notification provides a step-by-step guide for candidates applying for admissions at Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University (KKHSOU). The admission process is integrated with the UGC’s Distance Education Bureau (DEB) guidelines and requires the creation of an Academic Bank of Credit (ABC) account and a UGC DEB ID. Step-by-Step Application Process Step 1: ABC ID Creation: Candidates must create an Academic Bank of Credit (ABC) ID via the Digilocker facility. Valid ID proof (Aadhar, PAN, or Driving License) is mandatory. Step 2: UGC DEB ID Registration: Applicants must generate a unique, permanent UGC DEB ID on the university portal. This ID is essential for all ODL and online courses. Step 3: Portal Login: Upon registration, login credentials (Username and Password) will be sent to the registered mobile number and email. If credentials are lost, use the "Forgot Password" feature. Step 4: Form Completion: After logging in, candidates must fill in personal details, select their desired programme, upload necessary documents, and complete the fee payment.
