Announcement Details
This notification outlines the step-by-step online admission process for Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and Online programmes and courses, as per the directions of the UGC’s Distance Education Bureau (DEB). It details the mandatory creation of an Academic Bank of Credit (ABC) ID and a unique UGC DEB ID, followed by registration, personal detail submission, document upload, and online fee payment.
Overview
The admission process requires applicants to complete four main steps to enroll in various ODL and Online programmes. Key prerequisites include creating an ABC ID for academic credit management and a UGC DEB ID, which serves as a unique permanent identification for all ODL and online studies. After successful registration and login to the admission portal, candidates must provide personal details, select their desired programme, upload necessary documents, preview their application, and complete the fee payment online. Admission will be cancelled if any misinformation or invalid documents are detected at any stage, and fees will not be refunded.
