Mandatory Aadhaar Seeding for MMNMA, MMNBA, and Fee Waiver Scheme Benefits
Overview This notification from the Office of the Registrar, Dibrugarh University, mandates that all students who are beneficiaries or eligible under the Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina Aasoni (MMNMA), Mukhya Mantri Nijut Babu Aasoni (MMNBA), and the Fee Waiver Scheme must ensure their bank accounts are Aadhaar-seeded. In accordance with the communication from the Directorate of Higher Education, Assam, all Direct Benefit Transfers (DBT) must be processed through the Aadhaar-based Payment System (ABPS). Mandatory Instructions for Eligible Students To ensure the seamless receipt of benefits, all eligible students are directed to: Possess a valid Aadhaar card. Ensure their designated bank account is seeded with Aadhaar. Verify that the name registered in the SAMARTH Portal matches exactly with the name on the Aadhaar card. Any discrepancies must be corrected immediately. Ensure the mobile number linked with Aadhaar is active to receive OTPs for verification. If the number is incorrect or inactive, it must be updated immediately. If a student does not possess a valid Aadhaar, they are advised to enroll for one immediately to avoid any interruption or delay in receiving benefits. Consequences of Non-Compliance Failure to comply with these mandatory Aadhaar-related requirements may result in a delay or denial of benefits under the respective schemes.
