Notification for Final Spot Admission for FYIPGP 1st Semester (Non-CUET) Overview Dibrugarh University has issued a notification regarding the Final Spot Admission for its Five-Year Integrated Post Graduate Programme (FYIPGP) for the 1st Semester, specifically for candidates under the Non-CUET category. This admission drive is aimed at filling vacant seats and seats under the Endowment category for the academic session 2026-2027. Interested candidates are required to attend the spot admission process in person at their respective departments on the scheduled dates. Important Dates Notification Date: August 3, 2026 Dates for Final Spot Admission (Reporting & Admission): August 4 to August 6, 2026 Available Seats Spot admission is being conducted for a total of 14 vacant seats across various academic programs: Assamese: 01 Chemistry: 01 Economics: 02 English: 01 History: 03 Life Science (Botany): 01 Mathematics: 01 Physics: 01 Political Science: 01 Sociology: 01 Statistics: 01 No vacant seats for: Anthropology, Applied Geology, Applied Psychology, Commerce, Geography, Life Science (Zoology). Eligibility Criteria Candidates must bring the following original documents along with self-attested photocopies for verification during spot admission: Domicile Certificate / Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) of Assam (required for fee waiver, if applicable). Class 10th Marksheet and Pass Certificate. Class 12th Marksheet and Pass Certificate. Caste Certificate (SC, ST (P), ST (H), OBC/MOBC - Non-Creamy Layer Certificate), if applicable. EWS Certificate, if applicable. A print copy of the e-Samarth Application Form submitted by the applicant. All original documents for production before the Admission Committee. Note: Eligibility criteria for fee waiver schemes will be subject to the official notification issued by the Higher Education Department, Government of Assam. Selection Process Admission will be based on a spot selection process. Candidates must report to their respective departments/centres at Dibrugarh University on the scheduled dates with all required documents. The selection and admission are purely provisional and subject to the fulfillment of requisite norms of qualifying examinations and other relevant criteria. How to Participate in Spot Admission Candidates seeking admission must follow these steps: Report to Department: Attend the Final Spot Admission at the respective Teaching Departments / Centre of Dibrugarh University on the scheduled dates (August 4-6, 2026). Document Submission: Bring all original documents listed under Eligibility Criteria, along with self-attested photocopies, to be presented to the Admission Committee. Fee Payment: Upon selection, candidates must pay the Admission Fee and Course Fee at the time of admission. Refer to the Information Brochure of FYIPGP available on the Dibrugarh University website and Annexure A, B & C for fee details. Payments are to be made online. Fee Payment Information Accepted Modes of Payments: Online Payment using Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking/UPI. POS Machine, using Debit Card/Credit Card. Important Instructions for Candidates: Keep handy the duly sealed and signed original admission confirmation slip, the e-Samarth application number/form, registered phone number for online transactions, and a valid Debit/Credit Card to avoid last-minute rush. Ensure that adequate transaction limits are provided by your host banks for Debit/Credit Cards. If the limit is insufficient, take necessary steps to enhance it as per your bank's instructions. Verify that e-commerce transactions are enabled on your Debit Card by your respective host bank. Admission fees will be paid at the Digital Lounge Payment Facilitation Centre, ground floor, Indira Miri Conference Hall, behind LNB Library. Candidates must use only one mode of payment for the entire fee amount. Mixing payment modes (e.g., partial cash and partial card) is strictly not permitted. Anti-Ragging Undertaking All admitted students are mandatorily required to submit an Anti-Ragging Undertaking online at `http://www.antiragging.in` post-admission, as per UGC guidelines.
