Overview Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced a direct recruitment drive for the position of Junior Telecom Officer (Telecom) [JTO(T)-DR]. This is a central government job opportunity involving a Computer-Based Test (CBT) selection process. Important Dates Online Application Start Date: 4th June 2026 Last Date of Submission: 4th July 2026 Examination Date (CBT): August 2026 Vacancies & Pay Scale Total Vacancies: 100 posts Pay Scale: Rs. 16,400 - 40,500 (IDA Pay Scale E-1) Eligibility Criteria Educational Qualifications: Degree in Engineering (BE/BTech) or M.Sc. in Telecommunications, Electronics, Radio, Computer, Electrical, Information Technology (IT), or Instrumentation. M.Sc. in Electronics or Computer Science is also accepted. Age Limit: Minimum 20 years, maximum 30 years. Relaxations are provided for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen and BSNL employees (up to 50 years). Medical Standards: Must possess binocular vision and the ability to distinguish principal colors. Selection Process Candidates will be selected based on a Computer-Based Objective Test (MCQ) of 3 hours duration (480 total marks, 120 questions). Engineering Stream I: 200 marks (50 questions) Engineering Stream II: 200 marks (50 questions) General Ability Test: 80 marks (20 questions) Negative Marking: +4 for correct answer, -1 for wrong answer. Qualifying Marks: UR/OBC (CL): 40% in each section & 50% overall. SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD/EWS: 35% in each section & 45% overall. Final selection includes document verification and medical examination.
