Overview Gauhati High Court has announced a recruitment notification for the position of Stenographer (Grade-II) in the district courts of Assam. The engagement is temporary in nature. Candidates must also possess a Diploma/Certificate in Stenography/Shorthand from an ITI, Polytechnic, or recognized institute. Those currently pursuing the course may apply, provided they produce the certificate at the time of document verification. Age Limit (as of advertisement date): UR: 40 years OBC/MOBC: 43 years SC/STP/STH: 45 years PwBD: 50 years Language: Proficiency in Assamese is mandatory. Other: Must hold a valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate for the State of Assam. Selection Process The selection will be conducted by the Gauhati High Court, which may include written examinations or skills tests as per the official recruitment procedure.
