Overview The Assam Direct Recruitment (ADRE) 3.0 represents a major recruitment drive by the Government of Assam to fill various Grade III and Grade IV positions across multiple departments. The recruitment is conducted by the State Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC) under the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA), adhering to the 'Assam Direct Recruitment for Class III and Class IV Analogous Posts Rules 2022'. Pay Scale: As per the Assam Services (Revision of Pay) Rules, 2017. Eligibility Criteria Citizenship: Must be an Indian citizen. Employment Exchange: Must be registered with an Employment Exchange in Assam. Age Limit: 18 to 40 years as of 1st January 2026. Age Relaxation: OBC/MOBC: 3 years; SC/ST: 5 years; Ex-Servicemen: 2 years; PwBD: 10 years. Educational Qualifications: Grade IV: Up to Class VIII (Specific posts), HSLC or equivalent, or HSLC with ITI. Note: Candidates with qualifications higher than HSSLC (Class 12) are not eligible. Grade III (Category I): Bachelor’s Degree (with or without 6-month Computer Certificate/Diploma) OR Bachelor’s Degree with Stenography Certificate. Grade III (Category II): HSSLC (Class 12) or equivalent. Grade III (Category III - Driver): HSLC or equivalent with a valid LMV Driving Licence. Selection Process Candidates will be selected based on a recruitment process defined by the SLRC, which typically involves written examinations.
