Overview The Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA), Guwahati, has invited applications from Indian citizens for the contractual engagement of 2 District Project Officer (DPO) posts at DDMA, Bajali and DDMA, Tamulpur. The appointment is initially for one year, renewable annually based on performance and fund availability. Important Dates Last date for receipt of application: 2026-09-25 (by 5:00 PM). Vacancies & Pay Scale Total Vacancies: 2 (1 for Bajali, 1 for Tamulpur). Remuneration: Rs. 23,336/- per month (Consolidated). Eligibility Criteria Essential Qualification: Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institute. Experience: Minimum 3 years of full-time paid work experience in disaster management in Govt./Semi-Govt./Public sector Undertakings/Autonomous bodies. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Computer Applications (MS-Word, MS-Excel, PowerPoint, Internet). Communication Skills: Excellent command of English and Assamese. Preference for Bodo language for the Tamulpur posting. Age Limit: 21 to 43 years as of 2026-01-01. Nationality: Indian Citizen and permanent resident of Assam.
