How to Apply
Applicants must follow a four-step online process to complete their admission:
Step 1: Create ABC ID (Academic Bank of Credit account)
As per UGC’s Distance Education Bureau (DEB) direction, an ABC ID is mandatory for accumulating and transferring academic credits from the July 2024 session onwards.
Create your ABC ID through the Digilocker facility or via the admission portal by clicking the “click to start” button.
Required for ABC ID: Aadhaar, PAN, or Driving License.
If you already have an ABC ID, proceed to Step 2.
Step 2: Create UGC DEB ID
After creating your ABC ID, you must create a unique permanent UGC DEB ID in the Admission Portal.
This ID will be used for all your Open and Distance Learning (ODL) as well as Online programmes and courses.
If you already have a UGC DEB ID, you can use it. Enter your UGC DEB ID and click “Get Your Details”.
Review and confirm your details. If correct, click “Click to Register” for the programs.
Step 3: Receive Login Credentials
Upon clicking “Click to Register”, you will automatically receive your Username and Password via your registered mobile number and email (provided during UGC DEB ID creation).
Use these credentials to log in to the Admission Portal.
A “Forgot Password” option is available if you forget your credentials.
Step 4: Complete Application & Payment
After successfully logging into the Admission Portal, fill in the following details:
Enter Personal Details: Provide all required personal information.
Select Programme & Enter Other Details: Choose your desired program and fill in any other necessary information.
Upload Required Documents: Upload scanned copies of the specified documents.
Preview & Pay the Fee Online: Review all entered information and uploaded documents before proceeding to pay the admission fee online.
Download Receipt: After successful payment, download and save your receipt.
Required Documents for Upload (Scanned copies, file size less than 500 KB, in jpg/jpeg/png format):
Passport size photograph
Final Marksheet/Certificate of the last educational qualification
Any Photo Identity Card (PAN/Driving License/Aadhaar card)
Wallet/UPI (e.g., Phone Pay, Google Pay, WhatsApp Pay)
