This notification from Dibrugarh University announces a rescheduling of the commencement date for the Third and Higher semester classes for the 2026-2027 Academic Session. Due to the severe flood situation affecting Sivasagar, Charaideo, and parts of the Jorhat district, the university has decided to postpone the start of classes for Post Graduate (PG), Under Graduate (UG), and Five Year Integrated Post Graduate Programmes (FYIPGP).
Students and faculty are advised to note the revised date of 6th August 2026 for the start of the academic semester. The university administration issued this directive with due approval.
