Dibrugarh University has issued an official notification regarding the approval of the syllabi for Generic Elective Courses (GECs) in Tai Language. This curriculum is designed for students enrolled in the Five Year Integrated Post Graduate Programme (FYIPGP) and will be implemented starting from the 2026-2027 academic session.
The approval was granted based on recommendations from the Board of Studies (BoS) in Languages (meeting held on 10.09.2025), the Under Graduate Board (meeting held on 06.11.2025), and the Academic Council (meeting held on 17.11.2025, vide Resolution No. 06).
