Overview

Dibrugarh University has issued an addendum to the Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) curriculum framework. The Academic Council, in its 137th meeting, has approved the inclusion of Minor courses as Optional Add-on courses or Audit courses.

Key Provisions

Curriculum Status: Minor courses are now recognized as optional/audit components within the ITEP framework.
Grading Policy: Credits earned from these Minor courses will not be included in the calculation of the Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).
Reporting: Grades secured in these courses will be displayed separately on the student's Grade sheet.
Effective Date: These provisions are applicable starting from the 2026-2027 academic session.

Important Notes

Detailed syllabi for the Major courses will be provided at a later date.
This notice is directed toward students enrolled in the ITEP program and relevant administrative faculty at Dibrugarh University and its affiliated colleges.
