This notice, issued by Dibrugarh University Institute of Engineering and Technology (DUIET), Dibrugarh, is regarding the filling up of vacant seats in the B.Tech. 1st Semester Programme for the academic session 2026-27. Currently, three (03) seats are vacant, with the possibility of this number increasing based on withdrawals from already admitted candidates. Selection for these vacant seats will be made from the waiting list prepared after the 3rd Round of Admission-cum-Counselling, which was held on August 7, 2026. Candidates must fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria and admission rules of Dibrugarh University.
Candidates must have already registered for admission to the B.Tech. 1st Semester Programme at DUIET. They must also meet the prescribed eligibility criteria and admission rules of Dibrugarh University. Selection will be made from the waiting list generated after the 3rd Round of Admission-cum-Counselling.
Candidates will be selected strictly based on the applicable admission criteria, merit (likely CEE/JEE scores and PCM percentage), and the availability of seats. Merely submitting a name for inclusion in the waiting list does not guarantee admission.
Candidates who have already registered for admission and are interested in being considered for the vacant seats must submit their names for inclusion in the waiting list. This must be done by sending an email with the following details:
