Vacancies & Seats

Total intake breakdown by specialization:

• Pharmaceutics: 15 seats (includes 2 sponsored) + 2 EWS seats
• Pharmaceutical Chemistry: 6 seats + 1 EWS seat
• Pharmacognosy: 6 seats + 1 EWS seat
• Pharmacology: 6 seats + 1 EWS seat

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Passed B. Pharm. examination with at least 55% marks from a PCI-recognized institute/university. Students appearing for their B. Pharm. 8th-semester exams whose results are expected before admission are also eligible.
• Entrance Requirement: Must have a qualified GPAT or CUET (PG) score. Preference is given to GPAT-qualified candidates.
• Selection Note: If an insufficient number of GPAT candidates are available, the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences may conduct a departmental entrance examination.

Selection Process

1. Admission priority is given to GPAT-qualified candidates (80% weightage for Dibrugarh University graduates, 20% for others).
2. For non-GPAT candidates, admission may be based on a departmental entrance examination.
3. Statutory reservation policies apply for SC, ST, OBC/MOBC, and EWS candidates.

How to Apply

2. Click 'Register' to create an account using your mobile number and password.
3. Login and select 'Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm.) Programme' from the apply section.
4. Complete the application form and preview all information before submission.
5. Pay the application fee of Rs. 950/- via online mode (Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking).
6. Download the confirmation receipt and the submitted application form for future reference.
7. Candidates applying under the 'Sons and Daughters of DU Employees' category must submit a print copy of their application along with testimonials to the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences by 27.07.2026.
