# Vacancies & Fee Structure
Total Seats: 24 seats
Course Fee: Rs. 25,000/- per year
Admission Fee: As applicable to other Academic programmes.
Passed Diploma in Pharmacy course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
Must be a registered pharmacist.
Possess a minimum of four years of pharmacy practice experience in a community or hospital pharmacy. Proof of practice experience includes:
For Community Pharmacist: A certificate from a competent authority stating that the candidate is endorsed as a registered pharmacist in the drug license of a pharmacy.
For Hospital Pharmacist: A certificate from the Principal/Medical Superintendent/competent person of the Hospital/Health Unit stating that the candidate is working as a pharmacist.
Must provide a 'No Objection Certificate' from the employer in the prescribed format (Annexure - A).
Must submit a declaration in the prescribed format (Annexure - B).
# Selection Process
The selection of candidates will be based on the following:
Statutory Reservation policy as per the rules of the University.
Government employees will receive preference.
Period of service and date of superannuation will be considered.
Percentage of marks obtained in the Diploma in Pharmacy examination.
Unfilled/vacant reserved category seats may be filled up from other categories.
Selected candidates will be called for counselling at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dibrugarh University. Candidates must bring their original documents, a set of certified Xerox copies, and photos at the time of counselling. No TA/DA is admissible for this purpose.
# How to Apply
Applications for the Two Years B. Pharm. (Practice) Programme must be submitted through online mode only. No other means of application will be accepted.
Online Registration: Online registration for submission of the Application Form will begin from 09.09.2026.
Register: The candidate needs to register on the portal by clicking the "Register" button and providing their name, mobile number, and a password. The mobile number will be verified through an OTP. Candidates are advised to remember their password for future logins.
Login: After successful registration, log in using the registered mobile number and password.
Select Programme: After logging in, click on the "Apply" button corresponding to the link for "B. Pharm. (Practice)". This will lead to the application form.
Fill Form: Fill up the application form step-by-step with all required information.
Review and Submit: After completing the form, click "Submit and Review". A preview of the filled-up form will be displayed. Candidates should carefully cross-check all information and can go back and edit if necessary.
Pay Application Fee: After ensuring all information is correct, click "Pay now & Submit the application" and pay the application fee of Rs. 950/- only through online mode (Debit Card/Credit Card/Internet Banking).
Final Submission: The application form will be considered finally submitted only when the application fee is successfully paid and an online receipt confirming the payment is generated. An option to download the Application Form for future reference will be available.
Important Notes:
The submission of online application forms shall be automatically closed after the last date.
The course will commence subject to the fulfillment of a satisfactory number of students admitted. The decision of the admission committee will be final.
Candidates seeking admission against reserved categories must submit a caste certificate issued by the competent Government authority.
Incomplete or late applications will not be entertained.
Candidates selected must take admission on the specified date by paying the admission fee and course fee through the online payment system only.
It is the responsibility of the candidate to obtain necessary permission from their office for Admission and for attending classes on a regular basis.
