The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Kamrup (Metro), Guwahati has invited applications for the engagement of 29 Para-Legal Volunteers (PLVs) . Eligible candidates must be residents of Kamrup (Metro) District and should have an interest in social work and helping needy and marginalized people.

Educational Qualification: Applicants must have at least Matriculation (10th pass) qualification and should have the ability to understand and communicate matters effectively.
Candidates should also have compassion, empathy and concern for the welfare of needy and marginalized people.
Salary / Honorarium: This is not a regular salaried government job. PLVs will not receive salary, remuneration or wages. They will receive an honorarium fixed by the Assam State Legal Services Authority (ASLSA) from time to time.
The duties, terms and conditions will be governed by the NALSA Scheme for Para-Legal Volunteers and applicable guidelines.
The list of eligible applicants called for interview/selection will be displayed on the DLSA Kamrup (Metro) Notice Board and uploaded on the official District Judiciary website.
