Gauhati University has recently announced an employment notification for the recruitment of a Teaching Associate vacancy.
Name of Post: Teaching Associate
No of Posts: 1
Salary: Rs. 30,000 per month (Consolidated).
Educational Qualification: MA in Mass Communication with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point scale, where a grading system is permissible). A relaxation of 5% marks to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/ OBC (NCL) / Differently-abled categories. The candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test conducted by the UGC. Candidates who have got a PhD degree shall get exemption from the requirement of NET/ SLET. Preference to candidates having earlier teaching experience in Mass Communication/ experience in conducting certificate courses or similar academic programmes. The candidate should possess an understanding of content support, learner coordination, practical sessions, LMS/e-content support, and academic documentation. The successful candidates may be required to work both in the Department and the field.
