Vacancies & Pay Scale

• Total Vacancies: 88 Posts
• Child Welfare Committee (CWC): 71 Posts (13 Chairpersons, 52 Members, 6 Reserved for Female)
• Juvenile Justice Board (JJB): 23 Posts (Social Workers)
• Remuneration: Payment is provided on a per-sitting basis (minimum 6 hours) in accordance with the Mission Vatsalya Guidelines.

Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit: 35 to 62 years (as of 01/01/2026).
• Educational Qualification: Degree in Child Psychology, Psychiatry, Law, Social Work, Sociology, Human Health, Education, Human Development, or Special Education. Preference will be given to Post Graduate degree holders.
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of active involvement in health, education, or welfare activities pertaining to children.

Selection Process

Candidates will be evaluated based on the application and documentation provided as per the guidelines laid out by the State Child Protection Society.

1. Obtain the prescribed application format from the District Child Protection Officer (DCPO) or the official SCPS Assam website.
2. Complete the application form with all required details.
3. Attach self-attested copies of:

• Educational certificates and mark sheets (HSLC to Post Graduation).
• Experience certificates.
• Age proof.
• Aadhaar Card (address proof).
• Affidavit (Form 49).
