Vacancies & Pay Scale

Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit: Candidates must not be less than 18 years and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2026.
• General: The candidate must be an Indian citizen and a permanent resident of Assam.

Post 1: Accounts Assistant (AA)

• Essential Qualification: Graduate in Commerce with Major in Accountancy from any UGC/AICTE-recognised/approved University/Institution or equivalent.
• Desirable Qualification/Knowledge: PGDCA from any recognised University/Institution. Working knowledge of Tally ERP, GST, TDS, TCS, Income Tax Return filing, EPF, CPF, etc.
• Experience: Minimum 1 (One) year of relevant experience in handling accounts-related activities, preferably in a Government Department / Autonomous Body / PSU / Organisation /Institution.

Post 2: Junior Field Assistant

• Essential Qualification: HSSLC (10+2) with ITI Certificate in Surveying (Surveyor Trade) or equivalent.
• Desirable Qualification/Knowledge: Knowledge in mapping, using GPS/GNSS tools, taking field measurements, reading maps, walking wetlands and capturing geotags.

Post 3: Junior Field Assistant

• Essential Qualification: HSSLC (10+2) with ITI Certificate in COPA (Computer Operator and Programming Assistant) or equivalent.
• Desirable Qualification/Knowledge: Knowledge in data entry, operating web portals, and managing spreadsheets usage of GIS software.

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected based on their performance in a Walk-In Interview. Only those possessing the requisite educational qualification, experience, and other eligibility criteria will be permitted to appear for the interview.

How to Apply

1. Candidates must appear for the Walk-In Interview on the specified dates and times at the Assam State Space Application Centre, Bigyan Bhawan (3rd Floor), G.S. Road, Guwahati – 781005.
2. Applicants must bring the duly filled-in Standard Form of Application, as prescribed under Part IX of the Assam Gazette.
3. A detailed Bio-data/CV should be enclosed along with the Standard Form.
4. Candidates must also bring self-attested photocopies of all relevant certificates, mark sheets, testimonials, experience certificates, and other supporting documents.
5. Original certificates and documents must be produced for verification at the time of the interview.
6. The application should be submitted in favour of the Director, Assam State Space Application Centre (ASSAC).
7. No TA/DA shall be admissible for attending the Walk-In Interview.
8. The engagement is purely contractual and temporary for a period of 6 months and does not confer any right for regular appointment or continuation in service beyond the contractual period.
9. The competent authority reserves the right to modify, cancel, postpone or withdraw the advertisement/recruitment process without assigning any reason.
