Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has released an employment notification for the recruitment of 40 Field Engineer (Electrical) & Field Engineer (Civil) Posts for its Consultancy Project- Comprehensive Transmission & Distribution (T&D) Scheme in the state of Arunachal Pradesh under North Eastern Region . Selected candidates will receive a monthly remuneration under the pay scale of ₹30,000–3%–₹1,20,000, with an initial basic pay of ₹30,000. In addition to the basic pay, candidates will be entitled to Industrial DA, HRA, and perks equivalent to 35% of the basic pay, as per the applicable rules.
Field Engineers and Field Supervisors who successfully complete each year of engagement will be eligible for an annual increment of 3% in the subsequent year. The increment will be effective from the first day of the month following the month in which the candidate completes one year of engagement.
Nationality: Only Indian Nationals who have attained the age of 18 years or above are eligible to apply.
Upper age limit of the candidates must be upto 29 years as on 5th September 2026.

Selection will involve Interview only, of the eligible and shortlisted candidates. Screening test, if conducted, to restrict the number of candidates to be called for Personal Interview, shall be for elimination purpose only and will not have any weightage in final merit.
Test duration: 1 Hour
Total No of questions: 75 MCQs (1 mark each, no negative marking)
Technical Knowledge Test: 50 Questions (B.Tech syllabus)
Aptitude Test: 25 Questions (General English, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness)
Qualifying Marks: Qualifying marks in screening test would be minimum 40% for Unreserved including EWS and 30% for reserved vacancies.
Candidates who qualify in test will be shortlisted and called for interview based on their performance in screening test. The merit will be drawn purely on the basis of performance in the Interview. Candidates shall have the option for appearing in Hindi or English in the Personal Interview.
Minimum qualifying marks in interview round is 40% for Unreserved/EWS and 30% for Reserved categories.
