State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Assam has recently conducted Pre-Entry Test (PET) – 2026 for admission into 2 - Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) Course for the session 2026 – 2028. The PET was held on 12th July 2026. Accordingly now, SCERT is going to release the PET merit list and cut off marks on 27th July 2026. Candidates appeared in this test hence may check their result in this page in due course of time.

State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Assam is going to declare the merit list for the Assam D.El.Ed courses in due course time. Candidates may follow below mentioned steps to check their results of Assam D.El.Ed Result 2026.
Spot admission will be held in the institutes tentatively w.e.f. 03-09-2026 to 10-09-2026 subject to availability of seats. (Detailed schedule along with Notice will be published on 02-09-2026).
District
wise merit list will be prepared and allotment will be made in Teacher
Education Institutes (TEIs) in the districts as per merit and
availability of seats. In each district, there will be reservation of
30% of total seats for candidates having Science stream and 70% of total
seats for Arts & other streams.
After declaration of district wise result with score & rank, online counselling will be held where candidates will have to mandatorily give their preferences of TEIs where he/she intends to study. However, candidates will be allotted in their preferred TEI based on their score and category.
In each district 30% of total intake capacity will be reserved for candidates having Science stream and 70% for Arts &other streams. District wise merit list of candidates for (i) Science and (ii) Arts & other streams will be prepared separately as per reservation policy.
