Vacancies & Pay Scale

• Total Vacancies: 43
• Pay Matrix: Level-2 (Rs. 19,900 – Rs. 63,200)
• Benefits: HRA, Travelling Allowance, Leave Travel Concession, Medical expense reimbursement, and Children’s Education Allowance as per Central Government/CSIR rules.

Eligibility Criteria

• Education: SSC/10th standard with Science subjects (minimum 55% marks) along with a relevant ITI/National/State Trade Certificate or equivalent apprenticeship/work experience in the specific trade.
• Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as of 17 September 2026. Age relaxations apply for SC/ST (5 years), OBC (3 years), PwBD (10 years), and other categories as per government norms.

Selection Process

1. Screening of Applications.
2. Trade Test (Qualifying in nature).
3. Competitive Written Examination (OMR or Computer-based).

• Paper I (Mental Ability Test): 50 questions, 100 marks, 1 hour (No negative marking).
• Paper II (General Awareness & English Language): 50 questions, 150 marks, 1 hour (Negative marking applicable).
• Paper III (Concerned Trade): 50 questions, 150 marks, 1 hour (Negative marking applicable).
• The final merit list is based on marks from Paper-II and Paper-III.
