Vacancies & Pay Scale

• Total Vacancies: 01 Post (Unreserved).
• Monthly Consolidated Salary: ₹15,000/- per month.
• Note: As the post is contractual, standard government allowances like DA, HRA, or TA are not applicable.

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Minimum Class VIII (8th) passed from a recognized board or council.
• Driving License: Possession of a valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving License is mandatory.
• Employment Registration: Candidates must possess a valid Assam Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.
• Age Limit: 18 to 40 years as of 01 January 2026.
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST(P)/ST(H) receive 5 years, and OBC/MOBC receive 3 years.

Selection Process

The selection is merit-based and involves the following two stages:

1. Driving Skill Test: Practical evaluation of vehicle handling and driving competency.
2. Viva-Voce / Interview: Personal interaction for qualifying candidates.

This recruitment process is strictly offline. Follow these steps:

1. Prepare your application using the 'Standard Form' as published in the Assam Gazette Part-IX.
2. Attach self-attested photocopies of your 8th/10th marksheet, LMV Driving License, Employment Exchange Card, age proof, valid ID proof (Aadhaar/PAN), and a caste certificate (if applicable).
3. Attach 3 passport-sized photographs.
