Overview The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has launched the 'Samvida Sathi Portal', a centralized digital platform for the recruitment of contractual teaching and support staff across all Kendriya Vidyalayas in India. This portal replaces the previous system of applying to individual schools, allowing candidates to complete a one-time registration to be considered for contractual vacancies nationwide. Important Dates Registration Status: Active (Ongoing for the 2026 academic session). Vacancies & Pay Scale Available Posts: PGT, TGT, PRT, Computer Instructor, Counsellor, Yoga Instructor, Music Teacher, Art & Craft Teacher, and Special Educator. Pay Scale: Contractual honorarium based on KVS rules (specific monthly rates are determined by the respective regional KVS authorities). Eligibility Criteria PGT: Master’s Degree in the relevant subject + B.Ed Degree. TGT: Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subject + B.Ed Degree + CTET (preferred). PRT: 12th Pass + D.El.Ed or B.El.Ed + CTET Paper-I. Computer Instructor: BCA/B.Sc Computer Science or Graduation with PGDCA. Age Limit: Generally no fixed upper age limit, provided the candidate is medically fit and competent. Selection Process Online Registration: Creating a profile on the official portal.
