Overview The Indian Army has invited applications for the 68th Short Service Commission (Technical) Women Course, aimed at recruiting 30 eligible, unmarried female engineering graduates. This commission provides an opportunity to serve in the Indian Army as an officer. The course is scheduled to commence in April 2027 at the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Gaya. Post-commissioning CTC: Approx. Rs. 17-18 Lakh per annum. Military Service Pay (MSP): Rs. 15,500/- per month. Eligibility Criteria Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in notified engineering streams (Final year students are eligible). For Widow entry, specific qualifications apply. Age Limit (as on 01.04.2027): SSCW (Tech)-68: 20 to 27 years. Widows of Defence Personnel: Max 35 years. Physical Standards: Candidates must meet specific physical requirements, including a 2.4 Km run in 13 minutes, 15 push-ups, 2 pull-ups, 25 sit-ups, and basic swimming knowledge.
