Jogijan ICDS Project: Anganwadi Worker and Helper Recruitment 2026

Overview The Office of the Child Development Project Officer, Jogijan Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) Project, Hojai, Assam, has announced the recruitment of 31 positions for Anganwadi Workers and Anganwadi Helpers. This is a local-level recruitment drive intended to fill vacancies at various Anganwadi Centres within the project area. Applications are to be submitted via offline mode. Important Dates Application Start Date: 17 August 2026 Application Deadline: 31 August 2026 (up to 3:00 PM) Interview Date: To be notified separately on the CDPO office notice board. Vacancies & Pay Scale Total Vacancies: 31 Posts Anganwadi Worker: 15 Posts Anganwadi Helper: 16 Posts Note: Posts are distributed across various Anganwadi Centres under the Jogijan ICDS project. Specific pay scale information is not provided in the notification, as these roles are designated as voluntary service. Eligibility Criteria Residency: Must be a local woman residing within the area of the respective Anganwadi Centre. Age Limit: 18 to 44 years as of 01 January 2026. Educational Qualification: Anganwadi Worker: Higher Secondary (HS) passed. If unavailable, HSLC/AHM passed may be considered (KKHSOU qualifications not treated as equivalent). Exclusions: Regular students, candidates with serious illnesses, or those with pending legal issues may be ineligible. Selection Process Candidates will be selected based on academic qualifications and an oral interview. Preference is given to candidates from SC/ST/Tea Tribe communities (if population >40% in the area) and partially physically disabled candidates (3% reservation).
