How to Apply The application process is entirely online and consists of the following steps: Step 1: Create ABC ID (Academic Bank of Credit account) As per UGC’s Distance Education Bureau (DEB) directives, an ABC ID is mandatory for accumulating and transferring academic credits. Create your ABC ID through the Digilocker facility. You can create your ABC ID via the admission portal by clicking the “Click to Start” button. Ensure you have your Aadhaar, PAN, or Driving License ready for ABC ID creation. If you already have an ABC ID, you may proceed to Step 2. Step 2: Create UGC DEB ID in Admission Portal After creating your ABC ID, you must create a UGC DEB ID in the Admission Portal. This UGC DEB ID is a unique, permanent number for all your Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and Online programs. If you already have a UGC DEB ID, you can use it for admission. Enter your UGC DEB ID in the designated place and click “Get Your Details”. Review your details for correctness and confirm. If correct, click “Click to Register” for our programs. Step 3: Receive Login Credentials Upon clicking “Click to Register”, you will automatically receive your Username and Password on your registered mobile number and email ID (provided during UGC DEB ID creation). Use these credentials to log in to the Admission Portal. If you forget your Username or Password, use the “Forgot Password” option. Step 4: Complete Application and Payment After successfully logging into the Admission Portal, you need to fill in the following details: Enter Personal Details. Select Programme & Enter Other Details. Upload Required Documents (scanned copies of photograph, last educational qualification, photo ID, signature, and applicable certificates like PWD, Caste, BPL). Preview your application and Pay the Fee Online. Accepted online payment methods include Debit/Credit Card, Netbanking, and Wallets/UPI (e.g., Phone Pay, Google Pay, WhatsApp Pay). After successful payment, download the receipt. Important Declaration: By proceeding, applicants declare that all information and documents submitted are correct and authentic. Admission will be cancelled, and fees will not be refunded, if any misinformation or invalid documents are detected at any stage.
