Aadhaar-Based Payment for MMNMA, MMNBA, and Fee Waiver Schemes

Overview This notice, issued by Bodoland University, informs all students about the mandatory adoption of the Aadhaar-Based Payment System (ABPS) for the disbursement of benefits under the Mukhya Mantrir Nijut Moina Aasoni (MMNMA), Mukhya Mantrir Nijut Babu Aasoni (MMNBA), and the Fee Waiver Scheme. This decision is in continuation of earlier notices regarding ABPS and Aadhaar linking, and in pursuance of a letter from the Director of Higher Education, Assam, concerning the Aadhaar-Based Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) framework. All State-funded beneficiary-oriented schemes are to be onboarded onto the DIDS platform. Students are required to ensure their Aadhaar numbers are valid, their bank accounts are seeded with Aadhaar, and their names match between the SAMARTH portal and their Aadhaar card. Furthermore, active mobile numbers linked to Aadhaar are essential for OTP-based verification. Failure to comply with these requirements may lead to delays, rejection, or denial of benefits from these schemes.
